Biography and areas of expertise
As a healthcare management consultant with substantial experience, Mr Ahmed is dedicated to driving positive change in the Middle East’s healthcare sector. He specializes in #healthsystems strategy, transformation, and sustainability, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of the #healthcare ecosystems across the region, including KSA, UAE, Jordan, and Egypt. His passion lies in delivering innovative solutions and tailored strategies that optimize patient outcomes, increase efficiency, reduce waste, and catalyze transformative change, ultimately improving the overall health and well-being of the population.
As Russ Aykoff memorably said if you are nonadaptive to a changing environment then you are destined to fail
The primary reason to invite Mr. Ahmed to give a talk to our learners is that they understand the currents that are shaping the landscape of the #healthcareindustry so they are ready for the #futureofhealthcare
There is also personal and professional learning which is the driving reason for this talk.
When I became a consultant, despite gaining domain expertise by training in some of the leading centers of #nephrology under world-leading gurus in my specialty, I realized that to move care forward for your patients and your service you have to learn great persuasion skills as you are frequently are advocating to healthcare executives who do not have the same domain expertise. In addition, these executives have competing proposals and priorities, so how do you strategize that your vision is selected and implemented
This is not taught to us in #medicaleducation and frequently great trainees and good doctors fail to become good leaders of their respective clinical services
The way I have self-learned is by meeting folks like Ahmed & other #healthcareleaders who advise senior executives & #healthcaresystems when they are going through their transformation journey
This lecture series is designed to gear our learners to be ready for #futureofwork and great leaders
I look forward to seeing you there; I am sure we will learn loads.
